Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about IMMIcoverage

What is IMMIcoverage?

IMMIcoverage is a job board exclusively for immigration attorneys. Attorneys who need in-person interview coverage post opportunities, and attorneys available to cover search and apply — filtered by hearing type, office, and language.

Who can join?

Any licensed, active immigration attorney in the United States. All users must be in good standing with their state bar association.

How do I offer coverage?

Current instructions are wrong — references "Offer Coverage" button and creating a profile which is the old model. Change to: Create an account as "I can cover," browse open coverage opportunities using the filters, and send a direct message to the posting attorney. All arrangements are made directly between attorneys.

How do I find coverage?

Current references "Find an Attorney" button and star rating filter — both wrong for new model. Change to: Click "Post a coverage opportunity" in the top navigation. Fill in the hearing type, USCIS office, interview date, language needed, and your budget. Your opportunity will be reviewed and published within 24 hours.

How do ratings work?

After a coverage is completed, the seeking attorney leaves a star rating and written review. Ratings appear publicly on the offering attorney's profile and help build credibility over time.

Is my bar number verified?

We ask all users to provide their bar number and state of licensure. Users are responsible for independently verifying the credentials of any attorney they engage with through the platform.

Is there a fee to join?

IMMIcoverage is free during our launch period. Subscription plans for offering attorneys will be introduced in the future. Seeking attorneys will always be able to browse for free.

What practice areas are covered?

USCIS interviews, asylum hearings, master calendar hearings, bond hearings, individual merits hearings, naturalization interviews, adjustment of status interviews, and more. Posting attorneys select the hearing type when creating an opportunity.

Who is responsible for vetting attorneys?

IMMIcoverage is a connection platform only. All users are solely responsible for independently verifying the credentials, bar membership, malpractice insurance, and professional standing of any attorney they engage with. IMMIcoverage does not verify credentials.

What if I have a dispute with another attorney?

IMMIcoverage is a connection platform and is not party to arrangements between attorneys. We encourage all users to communicate clearly and professionally. Accounts that violate our terms may be suspended.

How do I contact IMMIcoverage?

How do attorneys connect?

Once you find a suitable opportunity send a direct message through the platform. All communication happens securely within IMMIcoverage. Fee agreements and service terms are negotiated directly between attorneys.
